Hi eveybody and welcome on my student blog.


For my studies in a business school in Paris, I have to realize a student blog which has for objective to present various articles allowing to advance a brand that I invented myself, which is Illimited Make Up ( IMU), and which sells products virtually in the sector of cosmetics.  

I virtually work in this company as responsible for communication and I am thus in charge of the promotion of the company on the Internet (social networks and updating the blog). My role is to be the voice of the brand, which wants to be a company proposing qualitative and authentic products, and which adopts a strategy contrary to the others big brand strategies in the cosmetics sector. In fact, the giants of the cosmetics sector sell standardized products and by communicate on the dream, not on the reality. 



To make a success of this blog, I am inspired by several reference blogs about cosmetic products which allow me to communicate you clear and true informations, with the aim of increasing the transparency of our brand to its customers.

Our range of lipstick at -30 % thanks to the organization of the VIP Beauty Event.



A VIP show named Beauty Event was organized by the company Brilliance New York. It is about a show which takes place on December 4th in Miami, thus today. The objective of this show is to allow a clientele carefully selected to benefit different advices about beauty theme, and to receive different cosmetic products. The idea seems to us good, but the show is reserved only for a certain category of persons who have a strong purchasing power, and some celebrities such as Adriana De Moura, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, Christina Milian, Adrienne Bailon, and Jessica Hal. 

This event does not correspond to the IMU vision. IMU is a company which allows the total democratization of cosmetics thanks to moderate prices for simple quality products. I think that we have all the right to have the access at the information and thus the right to have various advice of professionals. We have the right to want make-up. 

This kind of event bases itself on the selection of identified persons and not allows the democratization of cosmetic products. All the women have the right to be women. 


IMU decided to react because we do not want that this kind of event is linked to the sector of the cosmetic products in general. We thus decided to show that our cosmetics, and the information that we give you excludes nobody. For that purpose, we decided to make a reduction of 30 % on the price of all our range of lipsticks. This offer is valid from 4 till 31 December 2011!

HACKED !


Dear IMU community, 

We have important information to communicate you. In fact, our blog was hacked last week

We did not have any control of the situation and there were a lot of actions realized out of our will like mails sent to our customers and partners. 

You have to know that all things are totally false. IMU will not be acquired by any other company and is not either in a bad financial situation.

Success generates jealousy. It is famous. The truth is that IMU is in full development, create recently, it inspires energy, authenticity, transparency and interactivity. All this represents a lot of forgotten values in the cosmetics market. And we know that. They know that too. And you know that. 

We say what we think and we will continue to say what we think. We sell products with high quality, simply. All people have to respect positions and opinions of the others. And we know that you like our position when we see our fast success. We have to say thank you for that, thank you to support authenticity, respect, and quality.

Against the animal testing thanks to science !


A recent article published in the website popsi.com emphasizes on the possibility to avoid the practice of animal testing for certain compounds of cosmetic products.

The article specifies that animals are still regularly used as test subjects, mainly in studies of the toxicity and allergy sensitivity of cosmetics in particular. We know that it was banned in the European Union in 2009. But this prohibition creates another: the impossibility to the manufacturers to really test the products for allergy sensitivity.

We can analyze that banning animal testing could be problematic for people who suffer for example from allergic contact dermatitis or eczema because the problem is that these tests require animal testing. 

IMU is not agree with the animal testing, of course, but is not agree with the idea to put in danger people. That is why we decided to publish this article on our website. Read. 

The article informs us that the Lund University in Sweden may have found a workaround thanks to a study about genes of human cells, and IMU follows it!

The goal of the research is to compare the biomarker (composed by 200 genes) to the chemical’s behavior. Thanks to it, they were able to the potency required to induce sensitivity. 

The authors of the researcher think that it could be, in a first time, reduce drastically the animal testing. It appears also that it could be more efficient because this method allows an analysis of human genes directly, and no an analysis of animal analogues.  

IMU publishes it to show you that we have to be concerned, and we have to be in advance. We have to do it for the animal protection, and for the human protection.

Misleading Advertising by L'Oréal, Rimmel and Procter&Gamble.

A recent BBC article (September 2011) emphasizes on the misleading advertising in the cosmetics sector. The actors accused are big companies which communicate by lying and selling more impossible dreams than product with quality.

IMU wants to speak about this recent polemic, which exists nevertheless since a long time, to allow you to do the difference between these giants and a company like IMU.

Rimmel, L’Oréal and Procter&Gamble are the three main actors accused. They sell their product selling you Julia Roberts, Kate Moss or Nicole Kidman. But you are not Julia Roberts, Kate Moss or Nicole Kidman, even if you buy the ultimate L’Oréal cream. It is easy to understand and easy to see a big marketing strategy in L’Oréal advertisings. Easy to see a worldwide manipulation.

You are not Julia Roberts, Kate Moss or Nicole Kidman, but the most important is that there is not important. You do not know these women, and these women are like you. There is not any problem. The only problem is that L’Oréal, Procter&Gamble and Rimmel sell you more than Kate Moss. They sell you an unreal woman, a Photoshop woman.

IMU just want to show you that this is not our position.  We do not present women in modified pictures. We do not sell you impossible dreams. We just sell you products with high quality. And this is already very well.

IMU: one product, one million of needs.

We are sure you have a moisturizing cream for your face, one for your body, one for your hands and maybe one for your eyes.
We are sure you have foundation creams, powders, blushers, concealers and bronzers.
We are sure you have different lipsticks, lipglosses, lipliners, mascaras for all the type of lashes, all the colors of eye shadows, eyeliners with all the textures, all the contrasts.
We are sure you have, of course, all the different nail varnishes which can exist in the entire world.

And the worst, is that you have a lot of other things in your make up kit.

Do you really think that all these products are useful for you? IMU thinks in a big marketing strategy.
